Radical Pi's Journey Through the Paranormal
«

This year I'm going to research various paranormal things, but not from a skeptic's point of view; from a student's. That's right, I'm going to try teaching myself telepathy and every other thing I think I can teach myself. Sure it's a big waste of time, but that's why I have to be open to the ideas. It's obvious there are plenty of paranormal happenings everywhere. But for some reason under most controlled lab tests it doesn't work as good. Why? Because skeptics and doubters energy interferes with it. I heard it called 'skeptic vibes' at one place, and thats a perfect phrase for it. Human belief plays a large role in letting this happen. And math says so. Ever hear of the uncertainty principle? Human observation has a direct result on what happens in the subatomic world. So, I think therefore I am. I think it, therefore it is.
Anyone is welcome to help. If you know about a good website on how to become psychic or anything, please share!
First up, I'm interested in telekinesis. It's already been proven to work I think (but they still don't know how). But what is everyone else interested in? I'll take on your challenges, if they aren't too crazy.
btw, 'getting abducted by greys' isn't a psychic power that can be developed. I hope...

well i dunno about telekinesy, but on TV over here there is a TV program where they talk about ghosts and haunted house and it seems that they exists, even though they rarely show themselve in public. According to the people who saw them they only appear when there is one or two people in a room, else they are probably scared or something.
The program is in french though

Most ghosts are just

I think.
So, telekinesis it is then! First, I need a teacher or something...

I was about to post that that was unlikely and absurd, but then I realized: keep an open mind. My beliefs on these issues are sure to be challenged. Anyway, I found my first lesson on telekinesis at
http://www.psipog.net/show.php?id=2
I'll officially start that tomorrow.

I tested my die, and found that 6 has horrible odds. I'll try to go for 3, that was the only 16/100.
And OMG, I just went back to that site to see how their test ended up, and it followed the same basic pattern with me: 6 pathetically low, 4 and 5 pathetically high, and the rest trying to balance out but failing at that.
I'll be back with the results soon

My results are completely O_O
-inducing.
Test 1: no force
1: 15, 2: 14, 3: 16, 4: 23, 5: 22, 6: 10
Test 2: Trying for 3
1: 15, 2: 14, 3: 18, 4: 15, 5: 17, 6: 21
Conclusion:
WTF. yeah, that's my conlusion. ^^
Three went up one place in the rankings, as I hoped, but 6 absolutely killed it. Sure, you can say that the odds say that can happen, but out of 200 roles!
Opinions on this?

OMG...
I checked out that site and did the dice test and the Card Test #1.
Dice (no force): 1: 19; 2: 17; 3: 18; 4: 11; 5: 13; 6: 21
Dice (force on 2): 1: 20; 2: 21; 3: 21; 4: 13; 5: 14; 6: 11
And on card test number 1, I actually picked out all 51 cards...

Your six is wigging too...
I did the card test before (but had no standard playing cards so had to use a siblings tcg set >_>)
I did the opposite, and drew the target three times in a row, with IMMENSE shuffling.
And at one point I accidentally saw the card at the bottom. I thought with my luck, I would draw it next. And I did. O_O

Hmm, I'm not as interested in telekinesis, but I've looked into black magic a bit. It would be pretty sweet to be a black mage throwin' fireballs and s*** you know? Unfortunately all I could find was stuff that was obviously total bs or stuff that looked like I might end up blowing my face off if I tried it.
Maybe I should stick with guns and bows. o.o
I'll have to find a mage for my party eventually though... Never know when you'll run into one of those bosses that can only be killed with magic! I'll bet one of my chemistry teachers could help me learn a bit of explodinating goodness though!
Oh btw, sorry to burst ur bubble but so far all the telekinesis stuff I've seen anywhere was bs.

You may be right spengo, but that TK guide at that site has the following little bit:
QUOTE
If you do a search on the Internet, there are a lot of message boards and sites dedicated to "psychic" stuff. Why would there be such a huge thing about it if it was all fake? Can people really be that dumb (heh, don't answer that
)?
And I realized that a while before seeing this site.
Who would go through all the trouble of faking tens of thousands of posts on hundreds of different forums, if it was all a joke? Yeah, I probably would, but...
The trick is finding the Telekinesis articles with the forums attached. Just a lone page on freewebs about MindPowah probably wouldn't do much to me, but when there are people responding in the thousands about their success, you know it must be something.
I have seen some absolute b-s parapsycho noobs *coughWINGMAKERS.CO.NZcough* so I know what ur sayin.

Well, if you can figure out how to blow s*** up with your mind be sure to tell me. =D that would be uber!
@xlibman, hey bows are teh r0xx0r. After the fall of mankind when the necromancers take over with their undead hordes, ammo for guns will be scarce. That's why the best weapon would be a nice bow with reusable ammunition. Swords is too close for comfort. Zombies are scary. o.o
Gonna use my christmas money + some of the money I'll make working the rest of this christmas vacation to buy me a nice new compound bow. ph33r t3h zombie pwnage.
Btw, chemisty teachers don't seem to want to tell me much about their crazy black magics.
So far I only know a couple good spells, the most interesting of which is a water magic: big chunk of sodium + throw into water = booooom
EDIT: Roflmao @ ads
