The difference being that bronies don't wear animal costumes at conventions, unlike furries, and some furries even wears them on the street during their daily activities.

Really? At the last two bronies con juju went to, nobody weared costumes But again, those conferences were just in someone's house like any other party. But yeah, there are furries that wears costumes on the street during their regular activities, which I don't recall ever seeing with bronies. Furry is more of a fandom than bronies I think, because bronies are mainly hardcore fans of a specific series, like how there were small groups of Music 2000 lovers and calculator enthusiasts, and with bronies, often people have a favorite character. Furries are more of a religion for some people, or they feel they're an animal in an human body.
