I only seen real-life 8x8x8 I think...
And the 4D ones looks weird.

I remember seeing this before, either on a TI forum or IRC channel, but it was a long while ago. See the first few pics:

I can/could solve 3x3's in about a minute. 5x5's about half an hour if I tried, didn't mess with them to much. I haven't done anything with them in months though, so I don't know how fast now.
Though the biggest cube made (to my knowledge) is a 11x11 found
here
. I have seen people solve 20x20's though in like 24 hours I think on youtube. As for the 4D ones...never really understood those

I can't solve rubix cubes
i just can't get my brain to work in the right way
I have a friend who loves them though, and he's solved 7x7 s and this weird pentagonal rubix cube looking thing o.O Does anybody know why big rubix cubes are curved that way?

I would guess because the middles of cubes greater than 3x3 are spheres

It has to do with how it is made to work. Like it deals with the friction caused with the pieces and the inner gears are let to move easier from curving them some, I think. It all has to do with the inner gears though I'm pretty sure.

the reason the big cubes are curved is because the inner pieces need to remain in contact with other pieces or it will fall apart when you turn it, a naturally flat cube of such a large size does not have this property and thus it has to be warped

I can solve 3x3 in about 3~5 minutes. Used to be able to do faster, but I forgot a lot of algorithm.

Anything a man says after that is the beginning of a new argument.
Girls = Time * Money (Girls are a combination of time and money)
Time = Money (Time is money)
Girls = Money squared (So, girls are money squared)
Money = sqrt(Evil) (Money is also the root of all evil)
Girls = sqrt(Evil) squared (So, girls are the root of all evil squared)
Girls = Evil (Thus, girls are evil)

Trying to move the discussion out of big Rubiks and 4D.
And there are people who solve in strange conditions:
- underwater (hold your breath)
- with one hand
- 2 Rubiks at the same time, 1 for each hand, of course
- see the Rubik, blind yourself and solve it blind
I don't remember more.
