Oh lol you should look at the tutorials on blender.org. Those tutorials helped me immensely when using blender.

It's pretty awesome, but I want to get a faster CPU, although my AMD Semperon isn't too bad....

I should be able to switch it with an Athlon 64 without any problems, right?  Or would I have to reconfigure some stuff? What about just a better Semperon?

(It usually is fine, but when rendering some web pages, like Omnimaga, or applications that are kind of resource-intensive, it slows down.  I use Firefox/Konqueror, and they both can be pretty slow.  It also seems like there are a few bugs in Beryl....)


EDIT:  Btw, I have kind of good RAM (about a gigabyte of dual-channel DDR2), and a kind of good hard drive (although that probably wouldn't affect it too much....), so it's mostly me ~1GHz Semperon CPU I'm worried about.

 didn't like chatzilla, never heard of Turbo IRC.

It copied it to the clipboard, open MS Paint and press Ctrl V.
