Question about the post rating system

I feel so dumb asking this.. but how do you +1 a post? I've looked and looked, but to no avail. I feel like I should know...  :'(

You need a certain amount of posts to be able to rate posts (vote spam protection). I forgot how many, though. When it appears, it's above the quote button.
