sorry everyone
« on: July 20, 2010, 09:12:18 pm »
I wish to say I am sorry to all I have been rude too since the moment I had joined this wonderful and kind community.  I now realize how rude I may have seemed looking back at many of my posts (many of which have been changed by me to make them nicer).  I have been having some troubles in my life I would never have expected to have due to my social position (nerd and proud of it).  I have been brought up, and still, in a nice home (not rich nor poor), and I should have responded in a more honorable fashion.  My life is a bit more on track and I am sorry to all those I have offended in any way, shape, or for.  I have turned from kindness and acceptance many times from all of you during my worse days and I beg of your forgiveness even though it may be too late.
-especially to your DJ.  You reminded me many times and yet I did not see, thank you for being patient.

I am doing my better emotionally and will do all in my power to be a kinder and more respectable member of this community.

It's ok, don't worry too much about it. Also I checked your posts past Wed 23 Jun, 10, 13:21:50 and I noticed nothing wrong involving rudeness. As for the Axe token incident, it's usual for newer members to take the first version of what they see (even people like Builderboy did similarly, before, I think), they just need to be reminded to wait until both parties explained, else it leads to nothing good. Plus, everyone has to start somewhere too :). SirCmpwn was rude before and went a few times in the -5, if I remember, even if he helped a lot, and eventually he stopped and went in the positives again :P. In your case it may have taken a long while, though, because you have been less active lately, so people see your posts less often (and your profile).

In case you are worried, don't worry I do not hold anything against you. I also hope the life issues you went through aren't too bad x.x. I heard some really bad stories from other people around, before (much worse than SirCmpwn), and it was quite shocking.

Also since respect goes both ways, if anyone including you finds a post that is offensive or unnecessarly rude (for example, if a member with 2 post asks a question and he get bashed), he can report it to the moderators. I'm not sure about regular members if there is a report button besides posts, since I am staff, but if there isn't, the post can be quoted and sent via PM to a staff instead. I generally spot them as I browse the forums, but when activity is very high (like yesterday, where we had 450+ posts x.x), a lot can be missed :P

DJ: Yeah, we have a report to moderator link at the bottom of each post.

It is nothing shocking, uncommon, or physical.  Its just my more personal life hit a large and unexpected stop, bump, or whatever term you may use.  I don't know how the future will turn out but it will be beter if i take a better attitude about my life and life in general.
