« on: February 03, 2013, 07:21:27 pm »
This is the ONLY reason why most Americans watch the Super Bowl, right, guys?  ;D

Well, if you watched the Super Bowl, I'd like to know what your favorite commercial(s) was/were!

Sooooo... LIST 'EM!
I am Bach.

I watch it because of the cultural obligation to. If I don't I'll have no idea what people are talking about tomorrow.

So far I haven't really seen any I like.
I currently don't do much, but I am a developer for a game you should totally try out called AssaultCube Reloaded download here https://assaultcuber.codeplex.com/

I don't watch it... I just don't get why people like it so much. But I'll have to find the funniest commercials on YouTube tomorrow
"Eris" (Ndless 3.1)
"Keto" (Ndless 3.1)
"Luna" (AMS 3.10, HW4)
"Aurora" (2.55MP)

That, too, I guess.

Also, I think that they need to make better commercials for Doritos like the one with the dog from last year.

The only dorito commercial I've seen so far has been really creepy. It has grown men dressing up in dresses and horrible makeup while stuffing their faces

God that was wierd

Ones I don't like: Bud Light commercials, they are annoying and wierd

One that was also wierd

K=3 year old kid
P=Parent
S=Car stereo

K: Dad, where are babies made?
P: Well son, far away there is a planet called babytopia where babies of all sorts are made
    then they go on a rocket ship and land after their 9 month journey on earth
K: But Jimmy said that babies were made when mommy and daddy -
P: Car play the wheels on the bus
C: Da wheels on the bus go round and round round and round

In Canada, broadcasters have the obligation to replace the original ads with Canadian ones. But the good thing, they're all on Internet anyway.

Pistachio Psy made my day tho.

Remember the day the walrus started to fly...

I finally cleared my sig after 4 years you're happy now?

Everyone else in the house is downstairs watching, and I'm up in my room avoiding social interaction :P

Needless to say, I haven't watched any of the commercials.

Spoiler For IMPORTANT NEWS!:
Late last night, Quebec was invaded by a group calling themselves, "Omnimaga". Not much is known about these mysterious people except that they all carried calculators of some kind and they all seemed to converge on one house in particular. Experts estimate that the combined power of their fabled calculators is greater than all the worlds super computers put together. The group seems to be holding out in the home of a certain DJ_O, who the Omnimagians claim to be their founder. Such power has put the world at a standstill with everyone waiting to see what the Omnimagians will do...

Wait... This just in, the Omnimagians have sent the UN a list of demands that must be met or else the world will be "submitted to the wrath of Netham45's Lobster Army". Such demands include >9001 crates of peanuts, sacrificial blue lobsters, and a wide assortment of cherry flavored items. With such computing power stored in the hands of such people, we can only hope these demands are met.

In the wake of these events, we can only ask, Why? Why do these people make these demands, what caused them to gather, and what are their future plans...

Well, what we can all take away from this is that commercials this year are weird.

I watched the first half, and I learned that these commercials are terrible.
NASCAR commercials are sweet and funny. These ones are rude and aggressive.
The oreo one was rude, the dorito one was rude, some of the car ones were rude
Also, I hate godaddy commercials (maybe just because I watch tv with my family) The first time I saw one I thought it was for an adult dating service or online porn

Anyway, then they had some lady grunting and stripping in the halftime show

It depends. In Quebec City, since some channels have no antenna/station/whatever there, and just a retransmitter, they are not obligated to show Canadian commercials.

I never realized how bad of a singer Beyonce really was until yesterday. I've never actually seen her perform before.
