Taking a knowledge-filled leave of absence
« on: December 10, 2010, 08:29:58 pm »
During this leave from both calc forums, I will learn ASM, work on Phantom Sanctuary, and possibly make a full-fledged game.

Expect me back by the new year.

Well, good luck, Raylin. Can't wait to see what you turn up with for that game. In ASM?

Possibly. I mostly want to learn ASM for the OS project I was thinking of. (Private OS; not in any way meant to compete with KOS.)

Good luck.
I guess this means the cage match is off?
If not that's fine, but I'd like to know if I should keep Sky's Story on hold or not.

Spoiler For Projects:

My projects haven't been worked on in a while, so they're all on hiatus for the time being. I do hope to eventually return to them in some form or another...

Spoiler For Pokemon TI:
Axe port of Pokemon Red/Blue to the 83+/84+ family. On hold.

Spoiler For Nostalgia:
My big personal project, an original RPG about dimensional travel and a few heroes tasked with saving the world.
Coding-wise, on hold, but I am re-working the story.

Spoiler For Finale's Super Insane Tunnel Pack of Doom:
I will be combining Blur and Collision Course into a single gamepack. On hold.

Spoiler For Nostalgia Origins: Sky's Story:
Prequel to Nostalgia. On hold, especially while the story is re-worked.

Well, I hope you have more luck learning Asm than I did in my (halfhearted :P) attempt. Let's just say I do better with lectures than self-help books :P

See you in January!

How about that spam?
...What else should I type then?

You shouldn't if that's all you had to say. :\
I think it's ok in that case. :P

Anyway good luck in your plans and other stuff. Do you also still have finals and stuff? If so, then good luck as well for this. Can't wait for your return.

Are you planning to resume Army?
