Steve Jobs revealed his newest innovation: iDied. :P On a more serious note... even though I still hate you, Apple, I can't help but admire the spirit of your CEO, Steve Jobs, whose I would unhesistantly agree is unmatched by any other leader, and is still a peak to strive for. I hate your products, but I love your fervor for your company. RIP Steve Jobs, 1955-2011. :'(

Woah I'M really shocked right now. I'M kinda sad at the same time. Even though I was never a huge fan of apple (although I kinda like my iPod) due to high prices, I liked his dedication for the company he worked for.

I really can't wrap my mind around it.  He seemed kinda like an eternal leader.  I always thought he would beat his cancer.  :(

He was definitely up there on the list of people I admired most by far. Steve Jobs will be missed.

EDIT: Should be "The Leader who Created Apple, who Then Saved It from a Complete Disaster."

I just can't feel any emotion for a corporate leader who, despite having excellent design philosophy, gouged out consumers in some of the most ruthless and brilliant marketing moves.

I'm not sure why, it wasn't that he ever did anything wrong but he never seemed to care about what his fanbase thought. He just seems kind of evil when I inevitably compare him to say, Bill Gates, who is now a full-time charity worker. In contrast, after Jobs got back into his company, he canceled all of Apple's philantrophic programs, and besides his work and his company, he never contributed to anything he couldn't get a payoff from. This guy's stinginess is freakin' legendary.

Yeah, it sucks he's gone and all, but I'm not convinced most of us will really miss him.

It is a fact that without him Apple would have been bankrupt. He was a very special person, almost talented I think. The idea of Mac os X came from him! He was even fired once but they took him back. Bill Gates on the other side is with microsoft. It is a fact that windows is/was(I don't use it anymore) much less virus free than mac.

Maybe Bill Gates has given more away, but then again he is more rich than Steve Jobs (I think).
Apple has also embraced open source long before Microsoft, and accepted Linux (for example).

If I would start a company, and billions of people would tell me what to do, I would ignore them. Its still my company, and the decisions are made by me.
