Hmm, I was thinking we could setup a donate button or something.

That's an easy, simple and good idea. Nice!

The only issue with Google ads, though, is that most people got an ad blocker and a site that gets about 80 millions of hits per month will get about $0.10 worth of ads clicks in that period.  When ticalc.org staff met up in 2009, all they could afford with 3 years of Google adsense were a couple of beers.

Also Google ads can have porn, sounds and flash banners, too. It would be even more work. If hosting officially become a problem I guess maybe we could go with a donate button, although fortunately hosting is paid until October 2011 for now.

Yeah, add-blockers are a problem (I even use one :S)
Yeah, I'm thinking a donate button would be best, hopefully though when I get a job (should be start of summer, or end of it) I can afford to spend a little on Omnimaga too and not just keep it all in the bank for paying for college

I just realized, I don't know if safari has an ad blocker. I know it has a pop-up blocker. Hm... Google time.

Firefox and Opera does, but it fails sometimes in Opera, if the ad link constantly changes.
