Right now I have like a ton of projects and tons more floating around in my head. Do any of you ever have this problem of you start one project just to have another great game idea to want to work on?

The question is; is it a good thing or a bad thing? I'll go for the first. Personally I'm having the "luxury" of only doing one thing at a time now.

I don't have many projects, but I don't work on them often enough.

Its not the fact that I have too many projects, its just that all of my projects are always huge. Right now I dont know how long its gonna be before I get the forum RPG done and up, my new goal is to have it done before summer (I know a long way off) but I'd like to have it done sooner to help with the transition to the new site and to try to encourage a lot of new members. I'm still looking for both javascript help and graphics help, if your even somewhat skilled at either, let me know and we'll get this game up sooner. The biggest problem is that its so big and I can never find more than 1-20 mins to work on it a day so it takes me forever, and then I lose motivation and go for a week without working on it and then i get even further behind. Also, I still need to learn php and mysql to get the whole saving thing working, so it's a huge project.

Oooh, PHP/MySQL? *volunteers*
Heh. I not only have too many projects, but too few skills to implement them. Even with seven friends helping me out on them all.

well, if you'd like some pseudo coding/ methodising I could help but JS its self is such a variatibly odd beast to work with I don't think Id be much help to your coding effort as I would not code like you and ice versa.
I'd like to help with graphics but you'll have to wait till I graduate (a few weeks)

My issue is typically with having time to program, but I guess in my case I have too many projects that can be handled given the amount of time I have

I try to keep my projects at a maximum of 1 per system at a time. Right now I have 1 PC project and 1 83+ project. I don't get a lot of time to program, and I'd never get anything done at all if I had more than that. O_O
