I have a samsung Impression which is a feature phone which means that it has a large touchscreen, slide out keyboard, camera, browser, and the rest of that cell phone stuff but lacks main smartphone features such as a powerful OS and apps. I also don't have a data plan either so some features I can't use. The OS is quite buggy mainly when it comes to texting so several times a day I have to restart it but this is also caused by the excessive amount of texting I do each day. Luckily my contract expires in October and I'll be going with the iPhone 5 ;D

List of stuff I need to do before September:
1. Finish the Emulator of the Casio Prizm (in active development)
2. Finish the the SH3 asm IDE/assembler/linker program (in active development)
3. Create a partial Java virtual machine  for the Prizm (not started)
4. Create Axe for the Prizm with an Axe legacy mode (in planning phase)
5. Develop a large set of C and asm libraries for the Prizm (some progress)
6. Create an emulator of the 83+ for the Prizm (not started)
7. Create a well polished game that showcases the ability of the Casio Prizm (not started)

Nnnnooooooooo!!! D:

Almost everyone I've talked to that has an iPhone says that it's great at the beginning, but eventually it gets crappy. My best friend has had his less than a year and right now the vibrate button and function are kaputt, the screen is slightly unresponsive (enough to be annoying), and the calling quality has gone down since he got it.

I actually don't have a phone (even though I'm about 15.5 years old). However, I do development for Android. If anyone has questions, just PM me.

??? "sillyphone" doesn't mean "not smartphone" but "sillyphone": mine has the screen that flashes and 3 buttons that do nothing if you press them too high.
But if my parents agreed, I would have some of those Samsung Galaxy (S, Ace or SII, not Naos)
I own: 83+ ; 84+SE ; 76.fr ; CX CAS ; Prizm ; 84+CSE
Sorry if I answer with something that seems unrelated, English is not my primary language and I might not have understood well. Sorry if I make English mistakes too.

I have a LG Envy touch smartphone, no special OS. It's pretty nice actually. It has a touch screen and a slideout keyboard. I do like having a physical keyboard. I'm looking at getting a LG Optimus with android. The Optimus is touch screen only though.

*edit* I don't think windows phones are that popular. Most people I know that have smart phones have Android on them.

Appropriated video:

Well, Android is so much better than iOS in everything, but mainly the market because it has many more free apps. What I mean is, on the iOS Store, most apps are paid, but not on the Android Market.

Free apps are the best :)

I think the iOS has an advantage too because [type something here]. Seriously, I can't think of anything that makes it better than Android. Well, I'm sure it has a few advantages :)

I have a Vodafone phone with Android 2.2.

Yeah, they aren't very popular right now. The only windows phone I've seen is my dad's and he works at Microsoft :P

I have an Android -- a Samsung Captivate.

I'm pretty happy with it -- I've been stuffing all sorts of apps into it.  Somebody actually made a metal-detecting app (and it actually (sort of) works).
My website: Currently boring.

Projects:
Axe Interpreter
   > Core: Done
   > Memory: Need write code to add constants.
   > Graphics: Rewritten.  Needs to integrate sprites with constants.
   > IO: GetKey done.  Need to add mostly homescreen IO stuff.
Croquette:
   > Stomping bugs
   > Internet version: On hold until I can make my website less boring/broken.

Yeah, I know their not that popular. Idk, maybe I'll get a Droid (I'll be learning Java this school year, and I teach myself outside of it. Plus, it's not that too different from C#). Here's a list of the phones I can choose from. They need to be under USD$150, though.

I guess I'll do some research on the Droids, seeing as 11 (at the time of this posting) people on here have one.

But I like the kind-of blocky, squareness of phones, not curvy ones :\

EDIT: Hmm, maybe the Vibrant or Galaxy S...
