I am sorry guys (READ THE WHOLE POST BEFORE REPLYING), but Im tired of Kevin throwing tantrums and overstepping his bounds. last night he came to Cemetech, decided my reasons to calc84maniac as to why he should host his own forum instead of using IF were a personal attack on him and an attempt to start a flame war and banned me from Omnimaga,

I am leaving Omnimaga until Kevin can realise the following things:
He has NO power on other forums
He has NO right to get involved in arguments that dont concern him on someone elses website.
Logic Based Debates ≠ Flamewar
He's a hypocrite for banning me for actions on a separate forum in a debate, yet he tells everyone to be sorry for people who make sexual slurs and then get banned from the IRC channel and forum on the same website.
If he can't control his irrational behavior he needs to step down from a position of authority.


my leaving means that I will noy release any projects here until I begin posting again (when I receive email from Kevin containing an apology and saying this has been resolved).

To all you other forum members, sorry it has to be this way, but this needs to stop NOW. you can still find me in the OTHER usual places.

kevin: I still think you've down great things, and for the most part I respect you as a person, but its time you learned a lesson about the bounds of your authority.

Kevin, I'd have to (overall) agree with elfprince on this.  Elfprince was just stating his opinion in a debate.  He wasn't spamming saying "IF SUCKS IF SUCKS1111."  He gave his reasons and didn't really seem to be rude, as far as I can tell from what I've read so far.  Maybe elfprince could have been slightly nicer, but I agree with elfprince for the most part.

And although Kevin doesn't have power over other forums, he still is allowed to punish somebody, to some extent, for he/she doing something bad on another forum because of the fear that he/she will do it on his forum.  ;)wink.gif

But fear of suggesting to host a forum instead of IF makes little sense.

Even for me (very forgiving), that seemed to be a little too much.

Sorry Kev, but I am going to have to side with elfprince on this one. I didn't notice anything wrong with what he said, he supported his opinions with facts, he seemed to be plenty nice in what he said to me. Also, what bfr said is right, if he spammed and cussed out people on other forums, that should get a ban here, but he didn't do anything even worthy of getting a post deleted. I think that he deserves an unban.

Not to team on you Kevin, but I also have to agree with elfprince here.  He wasn't flaming, and as far as I saw he wasn't attacking you, and nothing worthy of a suspension.
