Hi I just joined. The site looks impressive!

Can someone email me the Nspire OS v 1.7? My email is [email protected]

Thx.

My first post XD

Just wondering, we should state how many posts we have in total, it actually shows it in "Show last posts of this member"

I have 714 total (not including spam though).

Spoiler For IMPORTANT NEWS!:
Late last night, Quebec was invaded by a group calling themselves, "Omnimaga". Not much is known about these mysterious people except that they all carried calculators of some kind and they all seemed to converge on one house in particular. Experts estimate that the combined power of their fabled calculators is greater than all the worlds super computers put together. The group seems to be holding out in the home of a certain DJ_O, who the Omnimagians claim to be their founder. Such power has put the world at a standstill with everyone waiting to see what the Omnimagians will do...

Wait... This just in, the Omnimagians have sent the UN a list of demands that must be met or else the world will be "submitted to the wrath of Netham45's Lobster Army". Such demands include >9001 crates of peanuts, sacrificial blue lobsters, and a wide assortment of cherry flavored items. With such computing power stored in the hands of such people, we can only hope these demands are met.

In the wake of these events, we can only ask, Why? Why do these people make these demands, what caused them to gather, and what are their future plans...

Introduce yourself, Humor and Jokes, etc :)

I just go to the last post in "Show last posts of this member" and look at the number for their first post and that's how many they have total w/o spam unless you have over 1000 posts since it doesn't seem to show up.

I cannot tell what is my exact post count including spam and non-counting sections, because:

1) About 500-1000 posts are located in the staff/admin/moderation sub-forums, which I no longer have access to
2) About 11000 of my non-spam posts and possibly over 2000 spam ones are located on the old board database on Invisionfree, which is gone
3) A dozen are located on the even older yAronet Omnimaga database

Otherwise, if I only count this board and posts outside the staff sections, I have 33473 total.

34987 including the staff posts. Your first one on this board was about who will be staff. Note that only 2 of the original staff (Netham45 and calc84maniac) are still staff.

Note that the manager usergroup is not coming back, since it was hardly used anymore on the old board

Ah ok. Thank you lol. Also to clarify, Netham45 was demoted for a while for inactivity. The only staff that remained staff during the entire duration of this board is calc84maniac.

As for the manager group, back in the old board days, managers were kinda like Anti-riot squad, but had every power the current CoT members have. CoT members used to have limited powers, such as only editing posts, locking topics, moving topics, etc, although they had full powers in their sub-forums. The people with admin powers were just called admin (or founder in my case).

The old manager/ars group was eliminated when the old board was deleted, though, and a temporary board was made, so the only people with full powers were admins. However since the anon raids of Feb 2008, all CoT were granted mod powers again.

My first post on the omnimaga forums besides introduce yourself (http://ourl.ca/6924/114494) (a very nooby post "worshipping DJ_O as a god") was this post in concepts and basic information "wow i love rts games!!!" (http://ourl.ca/4601/114495)
Wow how nooby i sound. I got banned soon after of course for my "noobyness" (well not really but my incompentence).

As for general forums I'm not sure but casiocalc.org was one of the first forums i remember visiting, tho i didn't post until later.

Edit: What a fail. Literally 4 months after I post last in Epic7's topic on what was your first Omnimaga post, I create my own topic. I guess the most fail thing is posting in the old topic! Good to see things have been merged now. :)

Hi everyone,
Thought it'd be interesting to find out what everyone's first post was.

Here's the link: http://ourl.ca/6924/114494
And the post here:
Hi, i am honored for you joining my website at jhgenius01.webs.com, and the number of your posts on omnimaga is phenominal!!! over 13000!!! anyway about me...

I first arrived on the calculator scene in 2008 when i received my cousin's CASIO CFX-9850GB+. I soon wanted some games but there was no link cable. In the end i found many games on UCF and CasioKingdom and managed to type them in (opened the .cat file in word and then printed it out for me to type) I even typed out the whole Star Wars game (at least 18000 bytes) by Sean Tan but i changed it to save memory! I also took a basic game, Indy2000 and changed into a cool featured pack game with highscores and stuff. Anyway, this year my new school required a TI-nspire and so i moved into the TI-nspire programming scene. I soon realised that the programming capability of the nspire was much lacking than the 9850, I couldn't make games such as pacman. Oh well, I finally made a game on 15 August 2010, Jason's TI-nspire's Hold 'em available for download on ticalc.org. Upcoming games include Battle of 16s and Cosmic Legions, both strategy games.

Wow I sounded so noobish.
Now I wonder about everyone else!
