Is it an up to date Chrome ? (That would surprise me because it updates automatically)

TI-Planet navigation engine has been tested on Firefox, Opera and Chrome. IE is still not a standard for me.
On the other hand, I checked on IE 9 and it worked fine.

I do not blame you for using IE6. IE6 blames you for using it by showing non standard page displays.

Also, can you link me a page that does what you're encouring on IE6 ? (even if it's all page, I just want one :p)

There is a problem with smart navigation/navigation intélligente in some browsers, though: If you close your browser, it doesn't remember your setting, so you have to click "Désactiver la navigation intelligente" everytime you visit TI-Planet.

This is only a cookie related feature, if you're not logged in.
If the browser clears the cookies for some reason, there is no other place to store this information if you're not logged in.

I fixed it by clicking that smart navigation thing. Thanks people
It wasn't because of my browser
I have not yet registered there, and I deleted my browsing history lately, and might have deleted my cookies

Ajax tends to be supported terribly in browsers in general. For example, in Opera, Facebook used to take 100% of the CPU during about 10 seconds every page load/comment expanding when they did their 2008-09 redesign, and other browser freezes occured in Firefox elsewhere as well, such as Youtube. Not to mention he says he uses an old computer, which makes things even worse. This is why some people advise web designers to keep AJAX use to a minimum, so that we don't need a quad core computer to use the site.

Whenever I visit TI-Planet, I try to disable smart navigation unless I only check news, because it's actually slower than standard page loading for me (I have a 30mbps connection and a first gen Intel Core i7 computer with 8 GB of RAM).

He says it isn't due to his browser because he tried on a different computer using identical browsers and he didn't have the problem. If it was his browser, then he would have gotten the exact same problem on both computers.

It could be a virus or something broken in his OS install, right? (or parental filter, since we remember Darl181 had all sorts of errors on his computer in 2010 as a direct result of a parental filter)
