This video prompted me to look for other Jon Lajoie's works, and I found pretty funny stuff. He does other things than rap BTW.

Yea, this is where he was going with it. Making fun of rappers/the content of many rap songs, which essentially say exactly what this song is saying, just in different words. I really didn't find it funny though. It just didn't really resonate with me. If it were more of a parody and he was really rapping in it I'd find it funny.

Yeah I didn't find it that funny personally, compared to other stuff. In my case, though, it may be due to the fact most rap songs I heard has similar lyrics, same for R&B songs, so I am so used to being forced of hearing that stuff that when I heard this song, it didn't sound that different to me :P. Not to mention I really dislike rap due to the lack of any melody x.x
