Awsome, you can join. Basically, I'm going to have to buy a new adapter to record (I lost my old one) then record a simple bass beat using a metronome to help me keep the speed. I'll tell you guys what notes I'm playing and I'll make sure this is a long song (10 or so minutes) so as to allow one solo to everyone who wants one. Basically, I'll give the recording to you, you record what you want over it, you give your version to someone else etc. and we leave lots of space for solos.
The first two orders of buisness:
-We need some TI related lirics, as CHEESY as possible.
-Most importantly, we need a name, something that says, "I'm a TI-Geek but I still rock more and harder then you or any of your other loser HP freinds, I stick my finger of TI-ness at you".

I'll have to come up with some way to record (hopefully that won't be too hard...). Can anyone else here read/write tablature (for guitar & bass). That would simplify the process of putting together stuff that sounds good...
Names (you wanted corny, right?):
Graphic Mashers
Homescreen Freaks
T.I.I.T.
Xtremely Basic
Assembly of Rock
z80

hm... I do sing adequately, I suppose. I was in the "Freiburger Domchor" for 7 years and we had some neat church-sponsored tournees to japan, south africa and stuff
I tried to learn keyboard, but still can't do more than a few chords and... ah well
And I do not have anything to record with that has a high enough quality (headset)

More news: I've been told that I am getting exactly what I want for X-Mas, because it's cheap and practical: a PCI card for my compy that will let me plug my guitar/bass/whatever in and record it! Yay!
And I'm getting an 8-channel mixer board, so that'll be nice too...
