ooh wow I got this a few years ago and felt in love with it, It's the best FF cover I heard. They need to make video game music like this more often

Yea, that's pretty sweet. I like the fact that it's much more up tempo.

Rocking out with guitars is the way to attract me to games/music! I loved this, reminded me of the MGS Theme on Evolution Skate Boarding!

true, I'm happy some games had guitar by default in the games. I think Ys series was the first to do it, but I'm unsure:

the song in the following vid didn't had guitar but it was still cool
&fmt=18

the song at 2:44 and the next ones is an example. They are from 1991 tho but for some reasons I prefer these version to the ones in Ys III remake (Oath In Felgana)

That made me wish the Turbografx-16 and CD add-on was more popular over North America. It had Genesis/Mega-Drive style graphics, but amazing sound since it was ran from game CD-ROMs. I think the console came out in 1987 or 1988
