So, my brother has been working with a friend on an electronic music project.  Rather then using a computer to generate sounds they used an electric drum set, a guitar, a bass, and keyboards/synths (with, I believe, the exception of one melody in the second track).  They also used several pedals and an eboe (sp?) to effect the sounds.  They recently finished the first EP.  Since you guys seem to listen to electronic music I thought you might appreciate it.  Here ya go:

They are currently working on a full album with this style of music, and another EP with all dance music.

I think only me, Netham45 and AP listens to electronic music on Omnimaga O.O, but anyway this sounds interesting, I'll check when I get some time

not yet, I will soon, tho *adds songs to itunes playlist*

EDIT: so far tune 1 (Creek Explosion/The Escape) sounds nice. I'm not too much into that kind of beat when it comes to techno/trance/whatever but I like the sounds used and some parts reminds me a bit Orbital

Tune 2: amazing tune, love the sounds used. This would actually fit pretty well in a Unreal Tournament/Duke Nukem/Half Life level :D

(I think I alerady heard tune 3 it was quite nice, altough so far from the first 3 song 2 ( Introduction of the hang) is my favourite)

Now listening to tune 4: I think it is my favourite so far. I am more into club beat generally, but in overall these songs are pretty awesome. Song 4 is my favourite in some ways because it got full of guitar/rock sounds and I'm into metal a bit. ^^

Btw do your bro have a Myspace page/Youtub channel? I think you showed me once but I don't remember anymore x.x

I'm gonna be playing bass on the full length, looking forward to recording that.

He doesn't have any myspace or youtube channels or anything like that yet, but I'm sure if they start playing live shows or whatever they will.

I enjoyed Creek Explosion/The Escape and Untitled Hang.
The first has a futuristic style (at least sounds to me) and the last I just enjoy the effects with the bass, drums and the instruments along.

I didn't like at all the vocals at All Turns to Hell, neither the music itself...
Introduction of the Hang is almost as nice as the others I liked. But was a little repetitive, I think. Or kind of the music missed something (could be better)

Is this electronic music? This is the first time I hear to it. x.x

It's sort of electronic music.  It uses heavily effected instruments and a lot of computer editing to get the tones perfect.
