Harmonics???

Hello.  I am trying to create a piece of music that utilizes violin harmonics.  I have Finale Allegro 2007, and I can place the little diamond shape over the notes, but they don't sound any different.  :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: As there is approximately e^(πi)+1 chance that I will get this recorded by real musicians, does anyone know how to get the playback to sound right?

yeah, it didn't copy over very well from MS Word.
