I have been trying for the past 2 weeks to get a new, decent laptop. So far, I have had absolutely no luck. But, there seems to be one that no one wants, hopefully, and I might get it. :)smile.gif

If not, I am gonna hurt something...  <_<dry.gif

Oh yeah, I guess some specs would be nice...

IBM T21 Laptop

It has Pentium 4 Processor 1.6Ghz

20GB Hard Drive

14.1 XVGA Screen

The laptop is in very good shape,

DVD Drive

The battery has not been tested

The laptop does NOT come with AC adapter.

The computer turns and has the IBM display screen.  No further testing has been made.  Laptop will be sold as is, so please bid accordingly.

I am hoping that the last couple sentences will turn people away...

I love the IBM Thinkpad T20, T21, T22, and T23. I have used them at work a number of times.

BUT...

Watch out tifreak... the T21 only has a 800MHz P3 (not a 1.6GHz P4). Could this be a "typo"? Maybe the seller meant T31? Or, maybe it actually is a T21 and the seller typed in the wrong processor.

I would definitely ask before purchasing.

I would recommend the T2x series specifically because the have high speed Pentium 3 processors from 700MHz to 1.1GHz. Did you know that a 1GHz P3 can do as much work as a 1.4GHz P4 in the same amount of time?

The reason I put it in the rants section was because I was ranting about it a bit...

@Ranman:

Even if it is only 800, it is better than what I have, which is a Pressario 1200 with 86MB of Ram, Win98SE (Barely stable...) and a 500mh processor...

Agreed...

I was just looking out for you. I didn't want you to get burned. The T21 is a very nice laptop.

Ranman, You need to go on tv, start up a pshychic line...  :ph43r:ninja.gif:lol:bounce2.gif

Ok, the price of the one that I posted specs for: 1.25

I also placed a bid on another laptop, a dell inspiron 1100 for 20. :)smile.gif

Please don't go hunt these down and bid on them, I really desperately need something better than the one I have...  :ph43r:ninja.gif

(Wait, I guess I can't blame the laptop I have now as being too bad, since I have dropped it 3 times....  >Dgni.gif )

Specs on the 2nd laptop:

2GHz proccessor

256 MB Ram

8Gig hard drive

CD-RW/DVD

14" screen

WinXP (If I win, I will replace with Win 2000)

Neither laptop comes with an ac adapter, which is fine, I can either see if I can modify/buy an adapter for the one I have, or buy one online for cheap...

I am hoping this is what is letting people not bid on it...
