I'm PC, sorry.  That is a very cool innovation tho.  Something funny is that mac doesn't advertize any of this :Dbiggrin.gif.

Woah, the mobility X1k series is out already? O_Oshocked2.gif I thought only the desktop X1k. That sounds pretty sweet- I shall have to find the specs on that gpu and compare them to the nvidia 7800 go.

Well, you also have to take battery into account too- do they do the major underclocking thing like the 7800 go? I will go to ATI's website and see.

Aye, it does, however I think it has fewer pipelines than the 7800 go. I'll wait until gpureview.com gets it in their database.

i overlooked this...the processor, the intel duo....uses the new exalted Yonah processor!  I saw some benchmark with a slightly faster 2.0 ghz Yonah vs. the AMD 3800+ X2.  It ended up in a tie!  apart from the fact that even at 100% cpu power, the Yonah used less power (with means less heat) then the AMD one at ZERO!

At first I was mad that Apple didnt go with AMD, but this, and what is in store for the future changed my thinking.
