Im sure most of you have heard about the
http://ipodlinux.org
project. I recently joined their Dev team and I so im helping port the kernel to the most recent ipod models.
EDIT:
It looks like Apple has released a new series of Ipod. Since the ipod photo is no more, I think I will sway my efforts to porting the kernel to the newer generation. Freeipods.com has updated their products, so I think I'll go with them.
http://ipods.freepay.com/?r=10145250
is my refferal link. Thanks again.

now if only my parents would allow me to get one... they are anti-credit cards
I guess I'll have to wait until I move out of my parents house next summer
The project sound very interesting though and I hope you can get an Ipod Photo

Thanks for support guys.
Kevin: Do you have your own credit card? If you do, just sneak onto your computer when your parents aren't around. Seriously though, you're not going to get some random $10,000 charge one day. Try to convince your parents of the validity of this offer, they can read more about the company at freepay.com. It explains how the thing works. I belive CNN wrote a article at one time about freeipods.com, im sure if your parents read that, they wouldn't be so anti-credit card.
rivereye: It does work with the 4th gens. Its just "not officialy supported".

Yeah, when you login to the site, there is a status link, where you can find out how many have signed up via your refferal link. Ofcourse you only get the credit if the person you reffer completes an offer. For the freephotoipods.com site you need to refer 8 people. The freeipods.com site only needs five. So far, I have 1 person signed up(Kevin), but zero have completed an offer.

Spellshaper: Have you ever heard of Visa-Buxx? You don't have to be 18 to use it. Thats what I use.
WOW...the new ipods are out and they can play video! I hope freeipods.com updates their products.
