This is possible and I have done partition table recoovery in the past. Problem is, if he resized his main partition to use the whole disk, then he can't recover the contents.

I did resize it before.
Well, I just went ahead and reinstalled Windows with two partitions again. Is there a way to remove the "System Reserved" partition (
) without needing to install yet again? I can live with it as-is if not.
