1000 things SirCmpwn should include in KnightOS
« on: November 14, 2010, 12:00:23 pm »
1: It should block all third-party assembly programs.
2: It should feature mathprint with easter-egg glitches.
3: It should include a few hundred BASIC commands no one uses, but definitely not GetKey.
4: It should add a bunch of really useful routines, then keep them from the public at all costs.
5: It should corrupt a random file every once in a while to keep things interesting.

EDIT: DEEP THOUGHT HAZ $@ INTERNETZ! W00T!

6: It should block its own assembly programs
7: It should feature a CAS that is actually WFRNG in disguise
8: Syntax error messages should redirect to textrolls

You can't do that, actually ;)

TI has made pretty big strides in that area, though  :P

14: force the user to input all math commands in Reverse polish notation.

15. all programs are deleted upon turning off the calculator.
16. the LCD refreshes at a maximum rate of 3 FPS.
17. only a 32x32 chunk of the LCD is used. the rest is "unnecessary"
18. an 8x8 sized Font is used, making 16 the maximum number of characters displayable. there is no small font.
19. all programs are written in KBasic. KBasic commands include:
-statistic regressions
-addition, subtraction.
- and that is all.

20: Invite ScoutDavid to make the OS alone from scratch in two days, would be epic.
21: Have an application called 'The Game' that crashed the calculator.

(now this is serious)Make a loading screen with a knight fighting a dragon =O

EDIT: The others are just as serious, sorry

Even worse.... Reverse polish sausage

Spoiler For Projects:

My projects haven't been worked on in a while, so they're all on hiatus for the time being. I do hope to eventually return to them in some form or another...

Spoiler For Pokemon TI:
Axe port of Pokemon Red/Blue to the 83+/84+ family. On hold.

Spoiler For Nostalgia:
My big personal project, an original RPG about dimensional travel and a few heroes tasked with saving the world.
Coding-wise, on hold, but I am re-working the story.

Spoiler For Finale's Super Insane Tunnel Pack of Doom:
I will be combining Blur and Collision Course into a single gamepack. On hold.

Spoiler For Nostalgia Origins: Sky's Story:
Prequel to Nostalgia. On hold, especially while the story is re-worked.
