6273: your mom only lets you use your calc on saturdays :D
that would really suck :P
there was a point where my parents would confiscate my calculator when I had homework to do, because I kept programming stuff on it when I got bored.
mine to. :(
Teachers already did that to me, like, history and german teachers :P
My philosophy teacher once confiscated my 83+. He gave it back to me one minute later when he noticed I had taken my 84+SE out of my bag.
I own: 83+ ; 84+SE ; 76.fr ; CX CAS ; Prizm ; 84+CSE
Sorry if I answer with something that seems unrelated, English is not my primary language and I might not have understood well. Sorry if I make English mistakes too.

A little while ago, this kid I sit next confiscated (not really though) my Prism to play Obliterate. Then I proceeded to take out and have him take my Nspire, 28S, and Prime. Having 5 calcs in your bag can be fun sometimes (especially in math when we have tests and I take them all out).

LOL looks like we all do the same. :P I don't have room to bring my 7-8 calcs in my bag 'cause there's already the GameCube in there. ;D

Well you can think whatever you want, school is a necessary step and what you did is called cheating. That's unfair to other people who take tests legitimately.

Since you got banned I assumed you used it in a test where it's not permitted to use your calc or at least calc programs. Even if I think it's stupid too you have to face the dumbness of bureaucrats who don't give a sh*t about you and don't know how education is supposed to work because they have the power, not you. ;)

I agree with the fact Latin is useless, but not because you don't need perfect spelling, because you do. It's useless because it's spoken nowhere.

But for all other things you said, I don't really agree. Most people don't care about specific biology things, including physicists. Most people don't care about specific physics things, including biologists. But when you are young, you don't know what you'll do when you're adult, so you have to learn everything, to discover what you like and what you don't.

+1 Hayleia. Although I know what I'll do later (obviously CS), I still have to learn a bit of everything because that's the way it works. Not that I agree with the concept of "that's the way it is" because I consider it as pessimism.

Due to dissatisfaction, I will be inactive on Omnimaga until further notice. (?? THP hasn't been much success and there's also the CE. I might possibly be here for a while.)
If you want to implore me to come back, or otherwise contact me, I can be found on GitHub (bluebear94), Twitter (@melranosF_), Reddit (/u/Fluffy8x), or e-mail (if you know my address). As a last resort, send me a PM on Cemetech (bluebear94) or join Touhou Prono (don't be fooled by the name). I've also enabled notifications for PMs on Omnimaga, but I don't advise using that since I might be banned.

6280:  (TRUE STORY)
Q:  "How many omni members does it take to change a light-bulb?"
A:  "One.  :P  DJ holds the bulb, and THE GAME revolves around him."

You have to write a sample bill for class and mail it to your senator.  If it is considered good, they actually use it.  You number your bill #1337 for fun, and make sure to include a $9001 fine.  ^^

My teacher gave me an odd look too!  XD
My name is Josh and I a developer at Moonzean. I enjoy Radiohead, web development, Java, and cryptograms.
Spoiler For No Surprises, by Radiohead:
A heart that's full up like a landfill
A job that slowly kills you
Bruises that won't heal

You look so tired unhappy
Bring down the government
They don't, they don't speak for us

I'll take a quiet life
A handshake of carbon monoxide

And no alarms and no surprises
No alarms and no surprises
No alarms and no surprises
Silent, silent

This is my final fit
My final bellyache

With no alarms and no surprises
No alarms and no surprises
No alarms and no surprises please

Such a pretty house
And such a pretty garden

No alarms and no surprises
No alarms and no surprises
No alarms and no surprises please

Q:  "How many omni members does it take to change a light-bulb?"
A: "Sixty-seven. One to screw in the lightbulb, one to lift the one screwing it in, one blue_bear_94 trolling, and sixty-four to go after blue_bear_94."
