6327: When a glitch happens on a game (even ones not on a calc), your PTSD activates and you can't stop quivering and thinking about that one time where your calculator game malfunctioned for about two seconds. (true story)

Note: The yelling part for my old post is true. I yelled at T.Wang (guy on Cemetech that lives down the street from me) for not optimizing a TI-83+ BETA for a game (Dodge). He does N-spire coding so I blame him...

Do addicted to Cemetech posts count?

Indeed. I think it depends of the situation, though, such as whether someone is being intentionally rude/causing troubles or not (although if someone hacks the site, deletes everything then pretends it was an accident it might not work <_<)

Wait...you can afford not to optimize Nspire BASIC? It can get hideously slow on large projects, even with good code. (That's what killed slang; I couldn't have a good feature set without being unusable normally.)

Nspire basic is slow even on a 150 MHz calc?? Was it coded by Casio or what? O.O

It gets slow when you're running a language on top of expr, hash table arrays, and string processing (you have to write pretty much everything yourself, which isn't the greatest even with the most optimal algorithms; native always wins in speed).

Wow... but how does it compare to TI-83 Plus BASIC, for example? Is it even slower?

Pretty sure it's faster in most cases, but strings aren't the greatest data transport methods.
Edit: If you want to look at the file, it's in the download here.
