Google Translate Easter Egg
« on: February 26, 2011, 06:56:35 am »
I just found an awesome easter egg in Google Translate:

1. Open Google Translate here;
2. Change it to German-Turkish;
3. Now write ä 15 times (äääääääääääääää);

See what appears ;D

i wonder how do you pronounce äääääääääääääää. In my mind it fits perfectly with the easter egg.

"Ä" is pronounced in a similar way to the "a" (or is it "ai"?) in "air".

OK I was thinking Ah but Ai kinda works also.

EDIT: when google translate pronounces it it sounds very odd.

Another strange thing that I noticed with Google Translate is that it will translate the Swedish word "är" (which means "is", "are" or "am") to "Känner jag mig sminkad" when translating from any language to Swedish. "Känner jag mig sminkad" means something along the lines of "Do I feel like I have makeup" D:
