Interesting Bug in the 8x+ series
« on: May 30, 2014, 09:50:29 pm »
I found a bug:
If you press [2ND] + [ + ], [7], [1], then [2] your calculator's ram will clear
Anyone else seeing this bug?

I've ran into it a few times. Nowadays I just avoid using this key combo, though.
I'm not a nerd but I pretend:

Now to be fair, sometimes that combination doesn't work as intended :P (eg when your archive becomes corrupted)

Oh yeah, you reminded me! There's another bug where when you try to archive a program to save space, you can't run the program anymore until you un-archive it!

And if you press 2nd+ALPHA, the cursor might turn into this weird "A" symbol...
Did you know that "Ammonia Gas" rearranged is "As Omnimaga"?

Pressing the carrot (^) key makes the text all small in the new OS.  Don't 'upgrade' to 2.55MP if you find this bug annoying.

I usually just use CLASSIC mode instead of MATHPRINT.

(This was a real glitch)
Sometimes when you hit "Y=", the first selection is "6Y" instead of a "line selection-Y"

I'm not sure if this really goes here, but it was funny for me.

Are you sure it wasn't just caused by an ASM or Axe program?

I couldn't get a screenshot because I was in school. It was funny though.

Hitting [2nd] + [On] Makes the screen go white, or if you are using a Nspire CX it makes it go black.
