Ah ok. I just remember almost all friends Netham45 invited were trolls, same for most miotatsu friends and one of Deep Thought friend. X.x

More new members is good, but as long as they don't pollute the board either.

That said, it could just be the effects of the Prizm and TI-Nspire getting more popular.

You can't spam or troll anywhere, even in randomness. Please read the posting rules first.
@BOB! you need to be more careful with your posting or else you will get banned.

List of stuff I need to do before September:
1. Finish the Emulator of the Casio Prizm (in active development)
2. Finish the the SH3 asm IDE/assembler/linker program (in active development)
3. Create a partial Java virtual machine  for the Prizm (not started)
4. Create Axe for the Prizm with an Axe legacy mode (in planning phase)
5. Develop a large set of C and asm libraries for the Prizm (some progress)
6. Create an emulator of the 83+ for the Prizm (not started)
7. Create a well polished game that showcases the ability of the Casio Prizm (not started)

I agree with z80man. The only forum rules that don't apply in Randomness are rule #7 and 8, and even 8 is limited by rule 5. See the rules there: http://www.omnimaga.org/index.php?action=ezportal;sa=page;p=2

Someone thought randomness was like /b/ before, allowing pretty much anything, but it isn't /b/, it's just a forum section where people can post pointless stuff. As a trade-off, post counts are disabled there. Post ratings used to be disabled in Randomness too, but then people used this board as a backdoor to troll, getting away with no negative ratings, so due to the abuse, we enabled rating here too.

Anyway do you happen to have any interest in calculator stuff? I am curious if you are working on any project for the TI-83 Plus, Casio calcs or other TI calcs.

Indeed. It's a part of 4chan. /b/ is a random board, where pretty much anything (or almost) goes. Since Omnimaga spam board has a similar name, some people might think it's the same. :P

Sometimes, our Randomness board almost became like /b/ minus the pr0n and trolling, though. O.O

And now, despite attempts to stop it, some of the trolling is coming...oh noes
Hopefully it stops soon enough, though :P

It's probably just the side effects of Omnimaga's increasing popularity. Many people are probably googling for Prizm/Nspire games and Omni comes in the top results and some people probably think that since our board is large that we're more lax on rules and thus, don't read them.

First off Omnimaga focuses around game development not math. Second you can't talk about how much you hate Casio calcs because it is offensive to those who develop programs for them. It's just like how here you can't say you hate TI calcs or HP. Lastly you can do equations on Casio calcs. Any questions?

Yes, Casio equation solvers are complete WIN and have saved my rear end in Algebra II many times ;D

EDIT: and I use a 9860, the prizm's probably better....

Pwnt :P

But yeah that's like that HP 50g guy that kept pushing the 50g because its CAS is much better than the 89T and Classpad ones. While it might be true, a CAS would be useless to anyone on this forum because CAS calculators are banned from tests. :P

But yeah when Omnimaga started branching out to Casio dev I told myself people who would try to start wars between TI/Casio/HP users would end up being banned like anyone starting z80 vs 68K vs ARM or BASIC vs ASM vs Axe vs BBC Basic wars.

I've wondered on and off, aside from the new and somewhat-trollish one are there any active HP users on omni?  I don't hear too much about them...
