Well met, travelers
I first want to say I don't own a TI.
BUT, I am a affectionado of minimalist RPG games and in that realm, you TI guys rule. I've played Joltima and Shadow of N

Welcome to Omnimaga!
I am sure xlibman wouldn't have a problem setting up a forum for discussions, if you want. Also, if you are working on an Ultima clone, then I think you should check out Ranman's Ultima V remake for the 89/92+ calcs that he is working on

Awesome!! Another Ultima fan! B)
Welcome to Omnimaga!
I think we are a dying breed... but we know the classic Ultima games rule!
Hmmm... The Cybiko and the TI-89 have the exact same screen resolutions. And with a few tricks, the TI-89 is capable of 4 shades of gray too (in reality it is monochrome.)
Can someone say Ultima V on a Cybiko? Or, maybe Ultima Dark Runes on the TI-89?
Is there a C development environment for the Cybiko? What type of tech specs does the Cybiko have?

Hey welcome here
I really need to setup forums for PC projects ^^ we alerady have a few from non staff (we even have staff who don't even code for calcs at all) I cant wait to see your game ^^
I made RPGs for TI calcs as well for 83+/SE but they arent running as smooth as Joltima and Narkemen as I can only do BASIC
this is my files actually

The Cybiko is a handheld device. It looks like a mix between a calculator, a Blackberry, and a PDA.

Blackberry 957:
25mhz 386ex processor
160x160 monochrome display
1mb ram 8mb flash
Cybiko:
11mhz SH3 processor (22mhz Extreme version?)
160x100 4-level grayscale display
512k ram 512k flash (1.5mb ram 512k flash Extreme version?)
We are all brothers in so far as having b/w handhelds.
Yes both have C sdk's but the Cybiko's only generates code for it's VM which is about 1/4 of what it could do natively.
Here is my Ultima DR minimalized tileset. Feel free to use:

wow thats pretty great, I wish I could play this
, can this lil device do grayscale? Just wondering because some TI calcs can do it (altough it can be very slow on all model lower than 85). I like your avatar btw
