Another hello from ticalc.org
« on: June 16, 2009, 03:38:22 pm »
Hi, everyone.  A lot of people probably don't know me since I'm not too people-oriented and don't socialize much (heck, I think it took me several years just to figure out that most of the discussion activity actually took place outside of ticalc.org ;)), but I'm the other recently-hired file archiver over there. Anyway, I just thought I'd hang out here from time to time to get a feel for what's going on, especially in the area of the TI-83+/84+ where my knowledge is quite limited, and answer any questions or concerns that I come across that I'm able to. Well, see you later!

Well that's great to hear and know. I hope you have a fun time here while you hangout.

Too bad we have a policy which says "anyone who thinks they have 'pull' is automatically ignored for the next 200 years."

@Halifax, for some reason, I only heard "Ninja'd" since the past year but only knew what it meant about a few weeks ago. Having been on forums since ages ago I've always been used to the term "Cross-Posting" :P

I've always had lots of calculator project ideas, but never get around to them since I have 7,203,992,230,499 other hobbies to juggle around. I'm trying to shoot for getting them finished by the year 6000, though. ;)

I remember see news with your name. Nice job! ticalc was without entries for several months...So I may be appreciate above the normal...

Welcome here and stay a bit.

Even if you can't do your games why not publish the design? You can keep to you all you choose, of course, but it may inspire others or just make them do it. Like me with Lost Legends 1. I took the design (and some code because the project "died" with the last programmer) and I am doing it. With the experience I gain from it, I will do my own. (me hopes gets all finished)

Hello there, and welcome to Omnimaga.

I agree with Galandros. Great ideas are to be shared. There may be someone who'd be happy to make your idea into reality.
Though I have to admit that I was a bit too ambitious with my last big project, and lost interest. :s

.. and darn, how many peanut bags did I leave when I went inactive? *grabs some*
