Ello
« on: September 23, 2009, 02:29:34 pm »
Hello, I'm new here!  ;D

I came here via the TI-boy video on youtube.

I have an TI-84+ calculator. (Bought it a few weeks ago, I'm new to them)

I already tried putting some games on my calc, like: mario, tetris, uncleworm, zelda, snake.

If you want to know anything more feel free to ask!

Hi jojojakes, and welcome to Omnimaga ;D

Here are some complementary Omnimaga peanuts

uncleworm would be a snake game with like 24 ways instead of 4 or something like that, with 3 different speed levels.

Spoiler For funny life mathematics:
1. ROMANCE MATHEMATICS
Smart man + smart woman = romance
Smart man + dumb woman = affair
Dumb man + smart woman = marriage
Dumb man + dumb woman = pregnancy
2. OFFICE ARITHMETIC
Smart boss + smart employee = profit
Smart boss + dumb employee = production
Dumb boss + smart employee = promotion
Dumb boss + dumb employee = overtime
3. SHOPPING MATH
A man will pay $2 for a $1 item he needs.
A woman will pay $1 for a $2 item that she doesn't need.
4. GENERAL EQUATIONS & STATISTICS
A woman worries about the future until she gets a husband.
A man never worries about the future until he gets a wife.
A successful man is one who makes more money than his wife can spend.
A successful woman is one who can find such a man.
5. HAPPINESS
To be happy with a man, you must understand him a lot and love him a little.
To be happy with a woman, you must love her a lot and not try to understand her at all.
6. LONGEVITY
Married men live longer than single men do, but married men are a lot more willing to die.
7. PROPENSITY TO CHANGE
A woman marries a man expecting he will change, but he doesn't.
A man marries a woman expecting that she won't change, and she does.
8. DISCUSSION TECHNIQUE
A woman has the last word in any argument.
Anything a man says after that is the beginning of a new argument.

Girls = Time * Money (Girls are a combination of time and money)
Time = Money (Time is money)
Girls = Money squared (So, girls are money squared)
Money = sqrt(Evil) (Money is also the root of all evil)
Girls = sqrt(Evil) squared (So, girls are the root of all evil squared)
Girls = Evil (Thus, girls are evil)
*Girls=Evil credit goes to Compynerd255*

You have to be a coder to join the staff, but you don't have just to join.
It's already good enough you are interested in calculator projects  ;D

I can barely program myself, but I know, if you take your time and ask some help if needed (which you can always do at Omnimaga, I assure you) you can become a decent TI-Basic programmer, one day maybe even ASM!  ;)

A good help for learning TI-Basic can be http://tibasicdev.wikidot.com/ , as DJ Omnimaga always suggests  :P
Really, a lot of stuff, not to say, everything about Ti-Basic can be found on there.

Oh and by the way, those waffles look delicious D:
* NecroF-_-ckk becomes jealous, and hungry   :-\
