Hi everone :),

I'm thomatos, another french Casio programmer ( ), really interested in the hacking of the prizm, though I'm totally useless to help  ;D (I haven't ordered one yet, but as soon as it'll be completely hacked, I think I'll do) !

N-Spire seems quite interesting too, if ever I have some money to waste, I may buy one  ::) ...

It's been a long time since I've started coming on this forum, but I've waited until now to register   ...

Sorry for english mistakes, if ever there are  ;D !

Hooray for Casio programmers!  ;D You are in luck, we have already hacked the Prizm to the point in which you can now code in asm, C, or C++. (or just straight hex for me) Join us now in the Przim discussion forums. and here are your peanuts
!peanuts

btw: your english is pretty good!  ;D

List of stuff I need to do before September:
1. Finish the Emulator of the Casio Prizm (in active development)
2. Finish the the SH3 asm IDE/assembler/linker program (in active development)
3. Create a partial Java virtual machine  for the Prizm (not started)
4. Create Axe for the Prizm with an Axe legacy mode (in planning phase)
5. Develop a large set of C and asm libraries for the Prizm (some progress)
6. Create an emulator of the 83+ for the Prizm (not started)
7. Create a well polished game that showcases the ability of the Casio Prizm (not started)

Heya and welcome here! I own quite a bit of Casio calculators personally, although I didn't develop much for them yet. The Casio Prizm has a promising future. The TI-Nspire CX seems cool too, but it will have limited programming capabilities, so it will most likely require the Ndless tool too.

Do you do any kind of programming by the way, like Casio BASIC?

Also don't worry about english mistakes. I'm personally french-speaking too and a lot of other forums members don't speak English as native language. :D

Anyway I hope you enjoy your stay. :D

Thanks !

Yep', I can program in Casio Basic and in C, and I'm currently working on a new C project for the FX-9860 - I think I'll make a topic on it ;) !
