Hello, I am m1ac4.
I can tell that I have never posted anything anywhere before because I just posted the first line by accident.  :banghead:  :mad: oh well...

Anyways, I used to have a 84+.  I don't have it anymore because it was not really mine in the first place.  When I bought my Prizm I had to return it to them (no hard feelings though).
I was very familiar with basic and had tinkered around with axe and assembly a bit.

I have spent the past several weeks getting aquainted with my Prizm by rewriting my old 84+ programs for it.  I am rather limited on what I can do on computers for the time being so I am kind of stuck with my calculator as far as programming is concerned for now.  This really doesn't bother me because I still have a lot of adjusting to do.  When I get more time I will start trying to do something more with the prizm and sh3 assembly.

For now, I will just keep learning and reading the forums here.

I hope you can help the community with hacking the Prizm, and to create the same huge amount of games that exists for the 84+

oh my, those walrus peanuts were poorly done.  I feel the need to redo them now. Meh.  Anyway... Photoshop-nazi as opposed to grammar-nazi? *shrugs*  Have some peanuts anyway:


EDIT: Note, if you used paint instead of photoshop, those aren't half bad.  I believe png and .tiff support transparency well, though, even from paint, methinks.

I got a Prizm too, although I don't code much anymore since late 2009. I might try BASIC later.

Prizm programmers ftw.
So you are already porting 84+ games to the Prizm. I've been working on a few games and have already ported a decent snake game, but you may have noticed already that Casio Basic isn't really all that fast when it comes to drawing.  :P

2. Finish the the SH3 asm IDE/assembler/linker program (in active development)
3. Create a partial Java virtual machine  for the Prizm (not started)
4. Create Axe for the Prizm with an Axe legacy mode (in planning phase)
5. Develop a large set of C and asm libraries for the Prizm (some progress)
6. Create an emulator of the 83+ for the Prizm (not started)
7. Create a well polished game that showcases the ability of the Casio Prizm (not started)

What's with all of the Casio programmers all of a sudden?

In any case, welcome! Don't be afraid to ask for help if you need it, especially in with SH3 hex.

I think it's because there was so much talk about the Prizm over here compared to other sites, especially about hacking/jailbreaking/ASM, that it bumped us in Google ranking, so it was only a matter of time when we would get many. The Prizm is most likely slowly appearing in stores now so more and more people get one. Casio sites are getting new members too, although most come to ask for help now.

Oh nice, I knew Casio Prizm ASM and the like gave high ranking, but when I last checked, just Casio Prizm didn't even show us in the first 5 pages.

I guess we'll definitively get a lot of traffic from Prizm and TI-Nspire stuff.

I haven't written any games (yet).
I just started on my first game yesterday and I will eventually go into more detail on it but I need to get somewhere else quickly right now.
