If you could get a job at TI, that would be awesome

Welcome to Omnimaga!  If you have any projects you plan to work on feel free to talk about them under the topic "Other Calculator-Related Projects and Ideas."  We would love to see them

um, nice description.. I hate drugs too :P

Also, nice to meet you!  I suggest looking at the rules, they're very helpful with answering any questions you have.

And, not to be rude, but it's gonna be hard to work as a programmer from TI -- you not only need to know how to use assembly, but you also have to be able to block everybody from having any fun on the calcs ^-^ this is where we all fail.

Well that's the reason that's stopping me, ti doesn't like games... but my ti-84 plus came with PuzzPack but I'm not going to stop gaming on my ti-84

You could maybe work for Casio instead and help them make their OSes less buggy. At least Casio doesn't block games on purpose, but they fail even more than TI at coding OSes. ;D

Anyway welcome here. I hope to see some new projects from you in the near future!

Just make sure to follow The Game.

Normally I don't think you really give peanuts if you saw that someone else did already. Ofcourse you could always have your own brand.

Depends on where you work in TI. Programming calculators is probably not what the majority of their programmers do, since they make hundreds of different microprocessors and other electronic systems. Plus, very few programmers use Assembly anymore, even where it would be justified :P

Apparently the 68K OS was written in C, but I'M unsure anymore. Maybe it was the TI-Nspire OS?
