Hello peoples!
« on: June 24, 2010, 08:34:02 pm »
Hi!
I've been following several of the threads on omnimaga for the past few weeks and figured it was high time to get an account.  I'm new to forum stuff, so maybe I will need some guidance.
I figured out how to program TI-Basic ever since I got my g-calc (ti-84+), and I am pretty well-versed in it.  I'm currently learning ASM using Hot Dog's Guide and attempting (rather unsuccessfully) to learn Axe.
You can call me Mighty Moose, M&M, or whatever else you think of.  I'll respond to it somehow.
Cheers!
I beta test, so...yeah.  PM me if you want me to test anything :D.

Almost only counts in horseshoes and handgrenades.

Cogito ergo sum.

Calcs:
TI-84+, OS 2.43, Boot Code 1.02, 128k RAM
TI-84+SE VSC, OS 2.43, Boot Code 1.00, 128k RAM  (I'm spoiled :P)
TI-81, OS 1.6K (only borrowed)
Casio fx-CG10 (Prizm), OS 01.04.0200
TI-Nspire Clickpad, OS 1.4
TI-Nspire Clickpad, OS 3.1.0.392
TI-Nspire CAS Clickpad, OS 1.6.10110 (!?) now OS 3.1.0.392

An omnimaga meme, started ~2006. Let DJ explain it for you, I haven't been around that long.

Lol the peanut bag thing is an old Omnimaga meme that someone started somewhere in 2006. For some reasons, it carried over the new board in 2008 :P

Spellshaper started it, and somehow it spread out among the other members, so much that even when Omnimaga closed in March 2008, the tradition carried on when this Omnimaga site opened in August 2008 :P

It has even been caried over to Other forums such as UTI once or twice when people join.

Wow - that's funny that it carried over the down time.

I guess old habits never die *sigh*

really? O.o

Wow I didn't thought it spread this much :P

Just trying to have some humor sometimes, else if we can't have fun anymore it gets boring fast. I hate when I post somewhere and everytime we make any small joke that is not offensive the moderators threaten to ban us

Banned for a small joke? That's harsh. At least Omni isn't like that. :D

Posts to the intro section and to randomness don't count, since both sections are spammish.

Yeah I remember seeing some forums like that. I do not think there are TI forums like that rigth now, except I remember there used to be some that were rather strict on jokes or randomness. Again, it's good to not go random too much either, though, or at least have a section to do it.
