How do you post animated gif?

You must have 5 posts (spambot protection) that are outside of the Intro Section/Randomness.  Then a box appears under the spot where you type your post where you can add files.
You can post a topic about it if you like.

Ah, sorry, misread your question.  You can attach it to the post, or use an image hosting site, like {AP}'s RFG Image Uploader and use BBC code to place it in your post.

I don't think you  can embed images/links with less than 5 non intro/random posts, but I'm not sure.

Oh right I forgot about the 5 post limit. It's to prevent spambots from uploading adult content (which happened before ) or even images that contains viruses. Post count doesn't increase in the intro section because people use it to spam sometimes and bots seems programmed to post there first nowadays. As alternative to the forums upload section, you can use img.removedfromgame.com. It's an image hosting service by a forum member.
