It's not that he doesn't come here anymore, it's more that he can't :P

Ya, xLib is a useful application but I would advise learning Pure TI-BASIC thoroughly before you venture into Hybrid TI-BASIC since it can be really tricky.

I'd actually recommend using Doors CS 7 instead of xlib. It's more stable and it contains all of the commands for xLib as well as a couple of other assembly libraries.

Wow...three pages in one day. :)
Well, welcome here.
And yeah, I would suggest starting out with something smaller.  It's your choice, though.
I tried to do something huge for my first project, and I failed miserably.
Enjoy your stay here.  And don't worry about grammar and such if you're not a native speaker.  We have lots of French speakers here (like DJ) who don't know English as their first language.

Welcome here KisForKeyboard!  Good luck with whichever project you choose. :)
I suggest a small arcade game, maybe something like this: http://www.ticalc.org/archives/files/fileinfo/430/43046.html :)

Lol, that's true.  Everyone decides to give a big welcome to the next guy.
I wonder what the longest intro topic is...

While I agree that usually it's better to start small, then work up big, I think you shouldn't let that stop you from programming whatever you want.  Dream big (and plan well)!

Also, you don't have to be incredibly good at BASIC before starting Axe - you should just know the more important commands and be fairly confident in programming with BASIC.  I've always found that for me, Axe is more easier to use then BASIC (but potentially much more dangerous).

My website: Currently boring.

Projects:
Axe Interpreter
   > Core: Done
   > Memory: Need write code to add constants.
   > Graphics: Rewritten.  Needs to integrate sprites with constants.
   > IO: GetKey done.  Need to add mostly homescreen IO stuff.
Croquette:
   > Stomping bugs
   > Internet version: On hold until I can make my website less boring/broken.

I check TIBD regularly because I find that the topics there deal with things I can help with. If you ever need an opcode, just let me know and I'll see what I can come up with :P I program in hex and that can be an advantage to some BASIC programmers. I get to make a bunch of random things happen...

Heya and welcome here, I hope you enjoy your stay. :) Hopefully a lot of people should be able to help you with BASIC/Axe adn even ASM over here. As other people say I suggest to learn BASIC first then you can try Axe, since Axe looks a bit like TI-BASIC but is more complex (although much easier than assembly).
