What kind of programming would you like to learn? If just Basic KermMartian's book or the online guides would probably be best
I currently don't do much, but I am a developer for a game you should totally try out called AssaultCube Reloaded download here https://assaultcuber.codeplex.com/

Hi Mercolify! I was going to suggest KermM's book for TI-BASIC. We also have a bunch of tutorials in the community on this site and others. TIBasicDeveloper has a huge compilation of info on BASIC, as well, but Omnimaga is the Goto place for Axe coding.

I saw this topic and thought our IRC bot (called New) was here introducing himself :P Welcome to Omnimaga, Mercolify! As far as books go that's pretty much the one book out there. I think TI-BASIC is the sort of language you can learn really quickly just by playing around randomly, since there's no risk to your calculator at all and the syntax is simple.

Axe is actually pretty easy (and it is axe parser)
I don't know if there is a tutorial for it, but as you know already python you'd basically have to look at the command list (also included in the download zip)
it can be found here: http://ourl.ca/4060/325065;topicseen#new

Welcome! As for books, they're really aren't many. TI should have an official PDF manual for the TI-83/TI-84 that documents most TI-BASIC commands. There is also the <a href=http://tibasic.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page>TI-BASIC wiki </a>and  <a href=http://tibasicdev.wikidot.com/>TIBD</a>.

As for AXE, there should be a command list included. There is an Axe wiki too, but I'm unsure of the URL, someone else will have to give you that link. :) There are also various tutorials floating around here, if you have questions, don't be afraid to ask. :)

Hm, I just drag axe.8xk into the emulator, find it in Apps, and it works fine for me.
What's happening?
