Hi There!
« on: August 07, 2010, 06:41:08 pm »
Okay, now all about me! First of all, I've been browsing this forum for a while now and I decided to join because of all the recent developments that are going on. :) I am going to be a junior in high school and I received my TI-83 Plus in 8th grade. I first started programming when I noticed the PRGM button and since I was curious as always, I began to write simple programs. Through countless hours of studying the TI manual and performing trial and error, I figured out what all the commands were and how to use them in my programs. Ever since then, I have made some games but nothing very spectacular to mention here.:P As of right now, I am learning Axe and possibly Asm from Hot Dog's tutorials. Hopefully I will learn more about calc programming and become inspired to do a project of my own if I have time to spare.:P

Nice, a Patriots fan ;D (well I don't follow NFL as much as CFL and hockey but it's still my favorite team and I was pissed after the 2007 Super Bowl :P)

ANyway hi and welcome here. I hope you enjoy your stay and good luck in calculator programming/development. :)

Are you one of those clones calc84 made of me, because that's my story too?  No?  Ok, good. :)

Welcome here!  Your complimentary peanuts should be arriving shortly. ;D

Even though you don't seem to be very impressed with the programs you've made so far, I'm sure everyone here would like to see some of them.  :)  Good luck on future programs too. :D

Looking forward towards the peanuts. :)

I've been programming on and off so I'm trying to learn as much as I can again. :)

And, no way, Peyton Manning & Co are going to be crushed this year, wait and see... ;)

This is due to the forum upload restrictions.  If you don't need to upload anything, you could show us now. :)

Lol thanks, I am glad to see new people around who are interested in programming. On my side, I hope to eventually release another game at one point too :P

Also activity really went up since March over here. There was quite a bit of activity during Winter too, but fewer people were joining. Generally around here you can get replies quite fast on your projects, but due to the extremly high activity sometimes it can take a while before people reach your topic. I check about 10 topics per day lately myself. It also doesn't help that it's Summer  so a lot of people are trying new stuff so the attention is focused on random stuff rather than just projects.
