In Quebec, I am confused about work age. I heard many times before it was 16, but then at my work place I saw people right under 16 getting hired. I think now people under 16 are just forced to continue going to school full-time so they cannot work full time. Also, you can still do small jobs like delivering paper and mowing neightboorhood lawn (some kids starts delivering paper at 10). As for beer, over here it's 18, as well as a few other canadian provinces, but in certain other canadian provinces, the legal drinking age is 21.
