anyhow...i may have to look around a bit, but i have been unable to add an avatar or signature to my account ?

Heya and welcome here. :D Since you made a post elsewhere, I think you might be able to upload a signature and avatar by now :) (I think the minimum requirement was set to 1 post since robots/automated accounts kept uploading adult material in their signature)
