looks around and hopes not to get noticed
Hi?
I'm not really that awesome of a programmer, but I can come up with ideas and put (some of) them into action. I'm currently working on a RPG with a new hybrid scrolling engine, so i hope I get this done by college!

BASIC, and its hybrid (think world map scrolling (like in RoL series) + stationary maps (think RoL series again)).
And I was a member for a long time, I just never posted or felt like I should.
I'll post an example later.

Hiya, welcome here, I hope to see you around and progress on your project
scrolling seems fast for basic, do you use RPG starter kit 2?

what libraries/tools do you use for your game?
a bit of clarification would be nice.

There seems to be a lot of confusion on the part of the scrolling.
:: I did not use RPGSK I or II, I created this engine specifically for my map editor, and I decided it would be useful to use in a game, and I got the idea for
'Till Death
.
:: When I say hybrid, look at the screenshot. See how it scrolls the screen when you get close to he border, and when you don't, it moves like it would in many ASCII homescreen RPGs? That's the hybrid I am talking about
:: No ASM libraries are being needed yet, but they will be in the future.
And thanks fr the welcoming and support.
