....You clicked, right? ;D
Watch this:

Anyway, I'm pretty sure this is an hoax of some sort, since you can't generate energy from nothing, correct me if I'm wrong (also if I'm wrong, please share the secret so I can become rich! :D)
So, how can I explain what I see in the vid? Is the lamp tricked, or is it something else? I'm puzzled.
I'm not a nerd but I pretend:

That topic title sounds like the weird ads that are everywhere (like anti age/big d*** tricks). :P
Edit : OK so I watched the vid. The motor in the fan can also act as a generator (it's basically the same thing but reversed). What I don't understand is how he makes the fan turn.

Using a strong coil (is that the right term?), you can do wireless power pretty easily. He probably has one that he's not showing.

Well, they give a fairly accurate description about how it works, so if you have the materials, I'd say try it for yourself.

But first of all: they lit the light bulb with only one AA battery. That kind of batteries has a voltage of only 1.5V per cell, which is not nearly enough to power a standard light bulb. Even an LED needs more than 1.5V to light up, especially a blue/while one like in the video.
It is, however, possible to increase the voltage using an op-amp. This can be built-in into the light bulb and this way, a low voltage energy source (like the AA battery) will be able to power an energy-efficient type of lamp (like a LED). So, while this doesn't prove that the video is wrong, this already indicates that the lamp is certainly not a standard lamp.

There are also facts that support the video, though. Let's start with the fan: It contains a DC electric motor, which is meant to convert DC electricity into motion. This also works in reverse; when you rotate the axis of a DC electric motor, there is an electrical tension generated between the contacts of the motor. And as the lamp seems to require only a tiny bit of elektricity (see the paragraph above), this fan should be able to power it when it acts like some kind of windmill.
Then there's the fact that two opposite magnetic poles attract each other, while similar poles try to push each other away. In the video, it looks like the magnets are pushing eachother away, which in itself is physically perfectly possible.
BUT there are more than two magnets in this rig, and the magnetic fields of those other magnets will lickely distort each other, giving slightly different results than you may expect.
And while the magnetic forces push one magnet of the fan out of place, an other magnet has to take it's place. And physically speaking, the magnet taking the place of the previous one should require a force to get in it's place equal to the force that the magnet going away from the one you hold provides.

Finally, there's still the fact that magnets, once placed on a magnetic field opposite to their own, will gradually lose their magnetic force. So if it works, it won't provide you with electricity for ever.

In conclusion: It will most lickely not work, and if it does, then it will only provide a small amount of electricity, and it won't last forever. So in this case, it's actually some kind of battery. But anyway, I'd love to be wrong on this one.

I'm guessing so Albert. He's not moving the magnet and one hand is off screen.
Magnetic fields only affect moving objects too. So there must be something that moves a magnet or a coil somewhere.

I haven't read a single response. This lightbulb could not possibly be powered by that fan, no matter how fast it's spinning, because fans are powered by substantially less than the energy we use to power our in home light bulbs. Besides that, if nobody has thought of this by now, we're all doomed.

Here's my little uncyclopedia nonsense for the bit you've posted, though:
This is not free energy for at LEAST one reason which should be fairly obvious to even elementary schoolers who know a bit of Newtonian physics:

The energy required to hold the fan and magnet in the proper place (as there will be repulsion and attraction forces to be dealt with in keeping this here long term) should be substantial, at least enough to power a lightbulb. It's just being cleverly converted.
Please tell me somebody else thought this.

THEN AGAIN, it was a Duracell battery. We're all complete fools if we're to believe Duracell ISN'T secretly at the center of the sun, keeping us all alive.

Definitely fake. For one thing, with rings of magnets like that, they always cancel each other out and move to some static equilibrium (ie they stop.) This is the same problem that those shifting-weight things have. You need either a moving magnetic field or a moving electrical field for this style of generator, and the energy is taken out of the moving side and turned into electricity.

I think it's important to point out that he says that the lightbulb is not normal.

The easy way to fake this would be to have a battery behind the fan, powering both the fan AND the light when he presses some switch that's not visible, or that's powered by, say, a hall effect sensor.

For some more fun fake circuits (this one is lame and easy) check out this guy's work.

He assembles the circuits in front of you and proceeds to break physics. Best part: They're puzzles, and they all really work (but there are lots of disguised components)

I was pretty sure I understood how he did #1 (I once did a similar thing with the actual lights in my house, 3 lights and 3 switches, always 3 down to make them all on) but then I saw #2 and how there was no discernable way that he was completing a circuit on the two that have a loose end... I surrendered into severe mindblown syndrome past that point.
Keep trying.

When you're using AC you don't need to have a complete circuit ;)

Yes I clicked it. Only because I thought a spambot got through. :P Seriously, this title makes it look like a bot posted it.

Haha, exactly what I meant to achieve lol :D
Willrandship: thanks for the explanation :) so it's probably a joke circuit? Hmm.. April's fools is coming up... Muhahaha.

There are several circuits using hands, and some using wireless induction-based methods using the long LED leads as antennas. Quite fun.

Somewhat of a bump, but I tried this with an 80mm fan and... nothing.  It just spun around one time and then stopped.  It's fake.
