The sad part is, I would guess quite a few people got that question wrong. :(

I hope no one got it as wrong as this

X = banana

well, SAT isn't as bad as a 1.5 hour survey we were REQUIRED to take last year.  basically it asked how many times we fucked with the opposite sex and smoked a long list of many drugs I never heard of before.  and then they asked how REGULARLY we took them.  they had like 10 answers for increments like 1-2 times a week, every few hours etc.  I felt offended I had to take that shit, so I said I had sex no less than 20 times, I never used condoms, I smoked every single drug imaginable every hour, I skip school every day and etc.

of course it was anonymous ;)

lol around my OLD school :D

I told my dad I did that and he said he thought it was funny as I shouldn't be taking that test anyways.  Apparently he opted me out, but they still made me take it.  So I had fun :D :D :D

Americans suck at math these days. Geometry especially.

That question's not too stupid. x is a negative number!  :o You have to square a negative number! Americans easily get confused. And also why is my respect so low?

no x = banana which is contrapositive

also many americans may be stupid but remember that's pretty much any country you go.  And there is a population of smart people like yours truly as well, remember that.

your respect might be -4 due to trolling.  Like that comment about americans -- all americans would be offended looking at that...

This. Last time I checked I think it was in the Casio Prizm thread and the Family guy one. I don't remember anything else, though. I have yet to see someone beat the record of -18 on one post, though.

Depends on the American. We still have most of the worlds mathematicians :P

I think it has to do with the fact it's an highly populated country so you have even more chances to run into someone who fail at math. :P

Over here there are people who can't even read/write. X.x

Well, America has plenty of those people too. Canada and the US are tied in illiteracy rates, so we just have more of them.
