Hello am Mc and am makeing a first mc mod for minecraft useing eclipse jdk and it says basemod addoverride and addname they in errors and for all the errors it says the method is unrefined for the type string. This is cause am giveing it a name and item and i don't know how to fix it if am on the right topic let me know plz. Plus am a coder so am learning if anyone have a clue of how to fix these errors plz let me know so i can run mc without any problems private final static modloader is null private final static string for my name of the item is also null if anyone know's how to fix these errors plz tell me know thank you and appericte your time. and the private final static modloader is like this private final static ModLoader = null;

Just for the record, using punctuation can make your sentences a lot easier to follow, rather than leaving everything in a crazy jumble.

Putting that aside, I'm sorry, but my knowledge of java, and minecraft modding in particular, are somewhat small. If I were you, I'd actually ask on a dedicated minecraft forum, as there are likely to be experienced modders there that could answer your question ;)

^That, plus you should already be aware that we are calc programmers here, and everything you asked so far is for the computer. Not that this matters a lot but we are not necessarily experts. ;)

Hello mcfluffy28655. This is indeed the right place, and I do believe we have a few people here that mod minecraft. However, your post is pretty unreadable. If you want help, you need to make your posts much more clear and explain things properly. I'd suggest you to go through your post and add in missing words and fix your punctuation. Do your best with spelling too, it doesn't have to be perfect, but it'll help a lot with readability if it's close (you could also use a spell checker). Lastly, don't rush through to post something (if you are). Take your time, and gather your thoughts. You will make less mistakes this way. :)
