Yay too. I just wish my dad would get around to finding the keyboard so I could start my server...

Lolwut? Keyboard? What happened?

You don't need no stinking keyboard. the on screen one works just fine :P you using windows, mac or linux? Windows has one that you can access by pressing the windows button+U, but I don't know how you'd get to without a keyboard (fail!) I have no idea for mac, and linux has one somewhere in the menu, under assistive tech in my distro. It might not be installed though :P

A nice one is called Dasher.

I want to use our old desktop, but I need my dad to find the keyboard first, and he wants to make sure there is nothing important on it first (even though the tech guy transfered all our stuff to the current computer).

I have a computer that would be perfect for a server if it was hard wired. Although it probably would need more RAM...:/ I'll just stick to Juju, rcfreak0 and CoolioJaz's servers.

Eh, the server doesn't need to be RAM heavy so much as cpu heavy, especially if you limit the map size (adminium walls are good for this. :P)

Do you happen to have their IPs?

Erm, well it's low on both CPU and RAM (216MB (I think) RAM, Pentium II CPU). But yeah, for local games it would be great, or maybe a few others, only if it was hard wired though.

No...sorry.

Servers are RAM intensive, very much at time. I run 2gb on my server and it uses it. I know you can run it on alot less, but more the better. I dont remembers jujus even tho i should.. Mine i only give out by PM because of no mods so no whitelist and i dont need a bunch of people i dont  know abusing my server. If you want it PM me here or on IRC.

Yeah I heard that even at 2 MB RAM sometimes it's still not enough and the server can even crash. X.x

Also I wonder how much CPU power and RAM is required for when someone blows up 10000 TNTs O.O . On my Intel Core i7 with 8 GB of RAM, Minecraft still froze when someone blew up 1000 TNTs.

Were they looking at the tnt when they blew it up or was it hidden. Although not as fun you can blow up much more tnt if you don't look at it.

List of stuff I need to do before September:
1. Finish the Emulator of the Casio Prizm (in active development)
2. Finish the the SH3 asm IDE/assembler/linker program (in active development)
3. Create a partial Java virtual machine  for the Prizm (not started)
4. Create Axe for the Prizm with an Axe legacy mode (in planning phase)
5. Develop a large set of C and asm libraries for the Prizm (some progress)
6. Create an emulator of the 83+ for the Prizm (not started)
7. Create a well polished game that showcases the ability of the Casio Prizm (not started)

When blowing up >9000 TNT, it crashes every client looking at the explosion, of course, but the server have to generate the big hole resulting from the explosion, which could crash the server when having low RAM.

My server have 1.25 GB RAM, with about 98% of it dedicated to Minecraft, which is pretty much the only thing running on it, so it runs kinda well on my machine without problems, resisted to lots of explosions and whatsnot.

Also feel free to ask me what's my IP in PM or on IRC. ^_^

Yeah, I meant the domain name. Of course, the IP always works.
