Hey Juju, how did you set up your server? You told me earlier that you're using craftbukkit, and that's what I'm trying to use. I have all the files in home/spyro543/bukkit and I followed the directions on the website. I type in craftbukkit.sh, and I get "command not found". I have no idea what's happening here, and when I use ls, it shows that there is in fact a craftbukkit.sh file.

First chmod a+x craftbukkit.sh then type ./craftbukkit.sh

I already updated. Connection issues would explain it.

Well, that's pretty simple, you find some old computer with a decent amount of RAM, you install some server distro of Linux on it (not Windows because the core eats up lots of RAM), disable everything but the core, networking and SSH so you get the maximum of RAM free and there we go. The first incarnation of mc.julosoft.net was hosted at home with an old Pentium IV I got for $15 before I moved it to a friend's server.
And have no download/upload limit :P
Basically the server cannot be hosted in Canada. D:

Actually, there's some small companies who offers unlimited internet, but unfortunately, the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission won't allow this anymore, since almost all smaller ISPs uses the lines of the bigger ones, which won't allow any unlimited stuff.
