You know how it goes: You're one of many emotion-emulating robots who have enslaved humanity and you fall in love with one of the humans that are trapped in virtual reality. Typical Friday night, I know.

Also, there's no 4/4 in this track. At all. You have been warned.

On a serious note:
This is one for II: Decet Hostium, which I can start working on again now I'm done with University. The drums are still WIP as far as I'm concerned; any sort of feedback is greatly appreciated.

Sounds cool, would be nice to see (hear) a better guitar/bass soundfont (or a real one)

I'll be putting my own guitar over it (and vocals too); the MegaDrive SoundFont is just there to lay out the initial foundations (what it'll sound like, how it flows etc.). It's why I call it a "Sketch" - it's like I've "drawn" a rough outline of it before I put in the proper outlines.

In case you wanted to hear it with an actual guitar (only one, no double-tracking):

Rerecorded double-tracked guitars:

EDIT: Now with "bass"*:
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/13838341

(*not actually a bass; just my guitar through a setting I made on my amp that makes it sound like one)

Still unsure about the drums though; the samples I'm fine with and the mixing I'll do later, but the patterns themselves I'm kind of iffy on. I'm sort of inspiring them from By Your Command by Devin Townsend, but what I've got.. something doesn't feel right about them and I don't know why.

Awesome so far. I like how it sounds with your guitar and you seem pretty good too :D
